Parenthood.
I can't express enough how parenthood changes your life. There is this misconception that you should procreate children to fulfill your destiny. I call it misconception because parenthood is not for everybody. As an example, just check today's news and will see how many people shouldn't have had that privilege. We live in difficult times where family values are not what they used to. Respect has been lost in time, behaviors have been modified, disciplining and instructing has gone south and north. On one side the law will punish you if overdo, but on the other hand, giving too much freedom will spoil your child making him/her one more in the list of non-functional people living among us. I'm not saying that you shouldn't have kids; its just the times we are living now make it really difficult.
As a father, I understand that raising children is not an easy task, Its a responsibility with yourself, your family and your society; and the way you do it, will affect these three groups forever.

The Robot War

As a child I always enjoyed watching or reading about robots and anything around futuristic technology; and always wondered what it would be like to have a war where the two parts fighting each other were robots, with bronze or titanium exterior using futuristic weapons that instead of firing bullets, they fire laser and all kind of beaming lights. I know, I am fantasizing again but what would it be if instead of wasting human lives, countries compete in technology; where the countries in conflict use their proprietary technology to create a dozen of robots to compete and fight against another dozen from the other country and having a centric place where they can have the event; think about it; USA vs Japan; mmmm, that would be interesting to see.

Life is short...
Life is short and tricky; in your 20's, you always believe that you will be young forever and nothing can stand against you; in your 30's you realize that's not true; however, you win wisdom and realize that many things you did were wrong. It makes me think that older people always wish to go back and fix a few thinks in their lives like not drinking too much, eating too much, etc. Things that unfortunately are too late now to reverse. That's why if you are young, think twice on the actions you are doing that could affect your life for the rest of its endurance.
